We have had some great feedback from the group following their time in Tasmania, with everyone very impressed with Tasmania and the lovely golf experience. The first week of the tour was based in Hobart, the capital city and the group’s accommodation was right in the centre of the city. Easy to walk around and plenty of nice eateries close by and the waterfront on the doorstep. There is a great buzz about Hobart and that was felt by the group- there was plenty of time to explore and take a visit to MONA, a museum like no other! Port Arthur was a highlight and they had a beautiful day to see it, very pleasant afternoon to enjoy the grounds and soak up the history. Three rounds of golf were played here – Tasmania, Kingston Beach & Royal Hobart. At the halfway mark, and after folks had time to browse the famed Salamanca market, the focus moved up to Launceston. Four rounds were played from this base – Riverside, Launceston and the two Barnbougle courses – the Dunes & Lost Farm. Everyone was wowed by these courses, ranked in the top 100 in the world and even the wind picking up towards the end of the Lost Farm round didn’t dampen people’s spirits! We will be offering this great tour again in 2020 and I’m sure that it will fill fast. Keep an eye on the website in a few weeks time when we will have the new details available.
